I don’t consider as a good singer but I always proud to say that I love to be part of my Church Choir because Church Choir are structured with soprano, alto, bass and tenor voices. It is very soothening to hear the songs while we are in church. Orthodox Music has a Traditional touch and it is very different from Western music. Orthodox Music sounds rich and diverse because being a Orthodox Christian I believe that music is an expression of beliefs. Through music we communicate with God.

We have this Chapter Psalms in Bible which is from Old Testament . This chapter is all about Sacred songs and sacred poems which we need to be sung. According to Orthodox Christian Faith Singing is considered to be the icon of worship .

So we hear our favourite songs or music when we are not in good mood; likewise according to Orthodox Christian Faith music is considered as ‘ a talk with God ‘.
